I looked at a lot of these, and I was trying to avoid getting a small, tinny sounding drum. This one is excellent quality! It’s sturdy, large, sounds beautiful and even comes in a nice case. It was worth spending a little extra money to get a good one.

The quality of the drum and the case FAR exceeded my expectations for the price. I know nothing about these types of instruments, so I can't comment to the sound quality and other factors I'm sure come into play. This was lightening sale impulse purchase. While I have no musical talent to speak of, most of my family does and I thought the grandkids might enjoy it (they definitely do!) Even without musical talent I find it very relaxing (and wonder if I have more talent than I thought *lol*)
