This is the best thing ever if you work on the pew-pew sticks... Really a must have over the hand Dremel. Try to get a good swing arm mount if possible. So far very reliable. Pair this w/ a speed controller and it's the perfect setup.

Only used about 6-8 hours at present and it works well, does the job. Others complained about foot pedal but if you work it for a while by hand the switch starts to move smoother and the variable speed start working. At least that’s what I found with my unit. I have given up on oversees manuals as I don’t understand why they can’t be written by someone that is fluent in English and understands equipment / mechanical operations. But these translated manuals can be a good comical read, always looking for a good laugh. But really - there’s motor, a cabled flex shaft, a handle with a nice chuck, a chuck key, and a foot switch. It’s not a space ship. Came nicely packaged and assembled except for putting a bit in the chuck and plugging the foot switch to the motor.

Been using flex shaft rotary tools for the last 30+ years.....this tool is a beast...lots of torque for all your carving needs, its the only one that has a jacobs chuck hand piece that accepts 1/4" shank burs, I am really pleased with my purchase. For the money spent, it is an exceptional bargain, and I've already shared the info with a few carver friends.

I like that I can use many different size bits. Although it heats up a bit with extended use it’s a lot less then using a dremel grinder and I find the hand piece easier to hold and use

Works great but I wish it had reverse an needs a small trim at opening for the key chuck. The tips of the shield want to grab the gear on the key

I don’t like the cheapness of the foot pedal. The rest of the unit is a far better quality of construction.

Bought this to polish small parts, and it’s been amazing so far. I just wish my wife would quit taking it for her own projects. Gonna have to buy another soon.

Picked up to work on customizing polymer and polishing different metals. Works great! Having the foot pedal controller reduces hand fatigue immensely. No complaints with the unit at all. Plenty of power.

My pet peeve is that the cord connecting the foot pedal is too short to use the tool attached to a hanger and standing up to work, as I do. I have to use an extension cord to connect the foot pedal to the motor. Another 6" in length to the cord between the foot pedal and the motor would make all of the difference. Overall the quality and features are an amazing value for the price. I bought 7 of them for teaching classes.
