Oh my goodness . I LOVE my steel tongue drum!It is beautiful . I have it In my meditation / stretching area... it is the first thing I use to start my day . I am not at all musically talented ... however I am able to bring lovely soothing sounds out of this gorgeous piece... so soothing . My grand children use the enclosed music book to play songs .This will be an item I will send to my sisters for their birthday gifts this year. Recommend highly!

This is a great beginner steel tongue drum. I bought it as a gift for my husband. It came right on time as expected and the case it comes in is nice. My only issue is this drum is missing 2 notes from the scale and the boom it came with has notes this drum can't play. Also, the index of songs does not match what is in the book, so updating the book that comes with the drum to only include songs this drum is capable of playing would be great. Thanks, Sarah B

Its very easy to be seduced by the lure of the drums with lots and lots of notes, but in my experience each time they add a note they reduce the tone and sustain for each note.This is for the 8 note, 10inch drum - each note has a really nice, mellow and pure tone with lots of sustain and is a delight to play.I tried the 10 and 11 note versions and the tone quality was very lacking with discordant sounds and uncomfortable resonance.Overall this is a great drum, well worth the cost and good enough quality to be played along with other instruments.

I bought this for my 5 month old Granddaughter. The sound is soft and pleasant and her parents won’t get mad at me for the house! They will enjoy playing it for her too!

Got this for my 8 month grandson who took right to it. His dad played it for him this morning and they are enjoying this soothing sound. He will grow into it and hopefully love it for many years.

The tones are lovely. The entire kit was very well put together. Bought as a gift for someone who always wanted to learn to play the steel drums. This is much more manageable :). He loved it. I might actually buy me one to help me with meditation.

Very nice drum for the price

Such an awesome wonder. I bought this for myself for relaxing, the melodic sounds are very peaceful. Several family members want one now .
