great for occasional user
I have a small shop in my basement and while i usually stick with wood occasionally i need to feel like a god and glue two pieces of metal together. I had learned on oxy acetylene torches but more recently had been relying on a name brand mig welder, i was just never that happy with the visual result and wanted to return to something i had more control over.Set up was easy, and i was able to get to welding pretty quickly. The controls on the machine are fairly intuitive and i didn't struggle much to get an arc once i got used to the change from mig. This welder was inexpensive and gave me a taste of the basics of tig welding. just enough to produce a few small pieces, but i look forward to using it again soon in the future.

Inexpensive but good quality TIG/Stick welder
I used to run a TIG while in college but I haven't been able to for hobby uses just because they are just so much more expensive than stick or O/A welding rigs. This obviously isn't intended to compete with a serious TIG unit, but for small jobs it can do pretty well. Obviously you still need an argon tank to supply the shielding, but once you have that you can be up and running. Since this is a small unit, I picked up a small 20cf tank and a valve on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LC41FTD). Something to be aware of is that while this is a TIG, it is a DC-only version, so you can't weld aluminum as that requires AC. It does have the ability to run as a stick welder, which is really nice since that opens up the option of taking it along for a lightweight welding rig if you just need to repair something small and don't need the full TIG capabilities. It does also have a "clean" function that uses a wet brush and current to remove an oxide layer off a recent weld pool. I haven't tried that function out, but for certain situations I could see where it could come in handy. Also, while it's a little bit unusual, I really like the 110-220 option. You can do lighter jobs on a normal house outlet, but if you need the full 225amps, then you can use the adapter and plug it into a 220v outlet. With all the options, this easily replaces my little 125a portable welder.

Easy to use
This is a great way to get started in welding. It works and functions just like the "big" machines but on a smaller scale. Stay within it's limitations on material size and duty cycle. It will overheat if used continuously. It will not build a race car but is excellent for arts and crafts as well as the occasional house project.

Add a stinger and this thing is a great arc welder
I have the gas sitting there, but I haven't had a change to try to Tig weld with this. I did, however, hook up a stinger from another welder and do some arc welding. It worked fantastically. It actually worked a lot better than the welder that donated the stinger. It worked great with 1/8" stick. The controls are precise. It's nice that it's dual power. It's rather light. I'm happy with it. It would have been nice if it came with an arc stinger.

Beginner welder here. Working for my needs so far!
I’m getting into welding. I found this welder easy to set up and it’s allowed me to make a repair on my metal framed bed.The weld beads came out nicely in my opinion and the bed has been holding up like new now!For the occasional use of welding that I see myself requiring, this will be all I need. For the price and quality, It’s 5 stars from me

Quality TIG welder
Very nice dual voltage 110/220 v TIG welder. Includes almost every accessory needed to start welding except the gas. Can’t wait to buy a tank of gas and start experimenting with this welder.

A very nice welder.
I have not tig welded in a very long time. But even so I think my welds were not half bad. I usually use a mig welder for small jobs I need done. I can appreciate the fact that this runs on 110v or 220v. Not everyone is smart enough to have the electric company put in a transformer that can support that for a shop. It happens LOL. Don't let the brand or low cost scare you off. 2 thumbs up

It works, it’s not great, but it makes welds
Perfect machine for small jobs. It’s not for building skyscrapers. This is going to work great for when I need to do small projects around the house. So far I’ve only fixed a broken gat hinge and it worked perfectly for that.

Useful as a Learning Tool or for DIY Work
My Wife's Uncle was a boilermaker, but familiar with all forms of welding. We've ordered several inexpensive units over the years, for fixes or little projects on our land. I'm still getting the hang of it, but that's what makes this a practical tool for some relatively new to TIG welding. My Wife's Uncle's take is that it's a decent product for the asking price. Obviously plenty of other pro welding machines can outperform it. But then they cost multiple times what this one does. So if you're just starting out, you can't really go wrong with this one.
