2022 Honda CRV - Cap Substitution
After much research, I decided to purchase and install this unit on my 2022 Honda CRV. Installation is fairly simple and straightforward. The unit is solid and equal to much more expensive available products. The issue I have with the unit is the protective caps provided that cover the bolt attachment to the Honda. The sales literature and online YouTube videos show plastic inserts that physically attach to the new roof rails. The plastic inserts seal the opening and are positively mounted to the new roof rails. The substituted product provided is nothing more than a simple piece of metal that attaches to the rails with two sided tape - and - where the metal mounts to the rails - there is no surface area for the tape to adhere to. Other customers have not mentioned if this becomes a long term issue or not. I am afraid that the caps will not provide adequate protection from rain water entering the inside of the rail. The taped down caps may fall out with time. Water infiltrating the rail cavity and the slot on the vehicle will corrode with time. This cavity needs to be adequately sealed. I have reached out to Vevor unsuccessfully to resolve the issue. The Seller should provide the equipment as illustrated in their sales documentation. I am a graduate engineer with 40 years of experience. This is not a minor issue. I am curious if past customers have experienced any issues with this product and use thereof. This substituted cap has the potential to be a very serious issue over an extended period of time.

Great price, questionable design
This would normally receive 2 stars from me, but the price is excellent, so 3 it is. I get it, this thing is cheap, but if something is marketed to fit your specific vehicle (2021 Tucson) then it should fit it properly. I mean, *TECHNICALLY* the cross bar fits. Just not well. The rear bar was super easy to get fitted and it looks great, issue is, the 2021 Tucson has a pretty dramatic taper on the roof line from front (widest) to rear (narrowest). So while the cross bars expand to grip the factory roof rack system, it causes the bars to flex near the edges. I’ve attached a picture where you can somewhat see the flex; however, it’s much more dramatic with the rear bar mounted since it sits perfectly straight. As far as noise, they’re LOUD. Below 40 mph, it’s not noticeable with the radio on, above that, there’s no drowning out the drone. I picked up some stainless steel, self tapping screws at Lowe’s to fasten down the “locking” (more on the locking feature later) section, and that somewhat helped, but the sound is still there especially once you hit around 55 mph. I’m regard to the “locking” feature. There’s a locking cylinder, with a key (that doesn’t work well), attached to a flimsy piece of plastic, which covers the fasteners. Sure, it might deter someone, but this is where the wind noise originates. Flimsy plastic on the roof of a car = not good. Again, I get it, these are some of the cheapest cross bars you’re going to find, but if you’re going to market something as fitting a specific car or being “expandable”, at least make sure it does those things and it does them well. Overall, if you’re willing to put in the extra effort, these are fine, the marketing should just be more honest as these are more of a “universal fit” rather than a specific vehicle fit.

This roof rack worked perfectly for my 2017 Kia Sorrento. It was easy to install, but I would like to be a little taller. It would have made installation a log easier. Quality is top notch. There is some wind noise that I noticed after installation, but doesn't bother me. Definitely a good purchase.

CR-V roof rack
Great price even found a coupon online. Dealership was so overpriced. Very easy to install I think it was less than an hour of my time.

I honestly was shocked at the price of this roof rack and was Leary because of that, however they definitely live up to their reviews. Not only was this thing incredibly easy to install it's absolutely a 100% durable. I got up on top of my roof and was rocking these things back-and-forth and they didn't budge at all. As a first time roof rack installer it was super easy to read and follow the instructions and took less than 10 minutes to install. We are looking forward to putting a 23 ft³ bag on top to make room for a new puppy in the family On road trips and adding kayaks later on.

A little noisy
My husband installed these on my Yukon XL in about 60 minutes. Worked great to bring a kayak on vacation with us. Next trip we took with no kayak, everyone is wondering where the humming is coming from? It’s the roof. Didn’t notice it with the kayak on board, but empty, these are noisy. May need to remove them and reinstall when needed.

Easy install
Installed on 2017 crv. Hardest part was getting the trim off without breaking all the clips. Some here have said holes don't line up, but if you follow a standard assembly procedure of starting screws without tightening until all screws are in, then assembly is easy.

Solid Kit
Install was pretty easy if you have the tools. All the hardware is sturdy and looks good. My only complaint is that the cross bars tend to rattle, making an annoying sound.
