I love this mat and the price was right! I bought 2 and might be back for more if it goes on sale! Heavy duty and the raccoons won't chew it up!

I ordered the VEVOR Snow Melting Mat 2023 New, 10 x 30 inch, 3 in/h Melting Speed, Heated Outdoor Mats for Winter Stairs, No-Slip Rubber w/Plug, Power Cord, Outlet Timer, Reflective Strip, Velcro, Ground Stake to help me keep easy access to my back deck during the winter. We haven’t really had a ton of snow yet, so I am not in a rush to put this out. The first thing I will not is that the odor of the mat is horrible. I am not sure which component or layer of the mat it is, but the chemical smell is overwhelming. I opened the box 3 hours ago and had it on the floor about 3 feet away from my desk. I was very aware of the smell and even got nauseous and developed a headache. I took it out of the box and unrolled it and let it sit another hour. The smell seems to have dissipated a bit, but not completely. The 10 x 20 is perfect for covering a standard stair – so I can totally see why they designed these to connect. I can’t speak to if they are truly non-skid on the steps, but I do like that they included stakes to secure the mat if you are using it on the ground. As far as the manual – it is thorough, and I will say that programming does seem a bit complicated. I do think I will try this with a smart plug to make programming a bit easier.

The 10 x 30 inch VEVOR Snow Melting Mat 2023 is a great product to have if you want to keep your outdoor stairs free from ice and snow this winter without using chemicals or putting much effort in. The mats are made using a very thick, sturdy rubberized material and they stay flat on the ground easily. We haven’t had snow yet this year, so it's hard to judge the claim about melting rates, but the mats seem to produce a steady warmth which will melt the snow similar to other mats I have.The only reason I didn’t give these a five-star review is that the instructions state that they can’t be left plugged in beyond 24 hours, which is not mentioned anywhere on the listing page and isn’t very clearly written in the instructions. It would be better if they had an automatic shut-off feature so it's one less thing to worry about during a snowstorm. Still, I expect these mats to work well and hold up better than other mats I’ve used in the past.

This mat works well, but beware that the controls are simply scheduling and there are better ways to control this. I highly recommend using a smart plug adapter to control this. You could schedule it through Alexa which is much easier than using the accompanying timer. The timer does work, but it isnt simple to program. Personally I use Home Assistant and schedule it with time and weather reports so it doesn't waste energy warming up if there is no snow or ice.

Didn’t know this didn’t include power unit. Once I had to make another purchase, it works fine.

Got these for my deck to maintain a path from my door to the hot tub during Minnesota winters. We had our first big snow earlier this week, and they did a great job keeping the snow away. Now I need to buy three more to cover even more of the deck!

Living in New York I haven't actually had snow this year, so I'll update the review after the first snow,But for the product itself I totally would recommend it, it has a perfect traction, it feels extremely sturdy and very well constructed, the electrical wiring is very secure and safe, and it feels and looks overall as a great and quality product, as soon as I get my first real snow I will update the review on how it actually performs.Having said that, I definitely recommend buying this product.

The product is versatile. It is an ideal for both residential and commercial use. Roofs, stairs, grass, floors and other places can be installed and used, no need to climb ladders to shovel the roof. The product is very convenient to use and store, and it is worth having for everyone.

The product has good quality, I have used it a few times and it works great. By the way, the after-sales customer service is very timely. I asked about the technical problem , and someone immediately contacted me to inform. Great service.
