Vevor band saw and stand.
The Vevor Band Saw is Fantastic! The stand that came with it is Totally inadequate. When you attach the stand to the saw the legs are to close together to be stable. It is a Great Saw though, I love using it!

wow. this is a hell of a thing.
this is quite a machine. the hardest thing, re assembly, was the base cabinet to the unit itself. but, then again, i'm a crippled up old man, making it hard to get on the shop floor and roll around trying to get to that screw in the far inside upper corner. i would have paid an extra $100 for someone to have put it together for me. regardless, the band saw is heavy and extremely solid. the motor reaches top speed almost instantly. the flexible light is weak, and useless, i'll have to replace it. it would be nice if the table was made of cast iron. however, it is made of pressed steel that is 3/16\" thick, again, not cast but barely adequate. all in all, i'll give it a 5 star rating. mainly because i was tickled pink to get it. it's a beauty and the price is right. my older brother bought a powermatic for the twice the amount. HA! his loss. oh, by the way, there were 2 parts left over and neither were in the book. perhaps vevor will reach out and explain where they go. i can't wait to put this through it's paces. i have hundreds of bowl blanks to cut up and store. thank you, vevor...but put a decent table with it, ok?

Saw works great but No assembly instructions.
This band saw works great, is simple to operate and an excellent value. It's a far better in every way than my old band saw that it replaced. I really like the safety conscious design of VIVOR's power on-off switch. If you are new to band saws, this saw will be a bit of a hassle to assemble since there are no assembly instructions! Once you get it assembled though, you will have a thorough understanding of its operation. It two-speed operation feature isn't that convenient to use. It requires opening the lower compartment and shifting the motor drive belt to a different sized pulley and then readjusting it for proper belt tension. That's a minor thing. For this price this is a killer product.

big bang for the bucks
works perfect for smaller projects. A definite purchase for the smaller scale hobbyist shop. It does what it is designed to do and set up is a breeze..

Mr.
Go ahead and buy this 14" bandsaw. It looks really nice and cuts really well. One thing to mention is that I've immediately changed the 1/2" blade that comes with it. I had problems cutting straight or even following curves line with it. I ordered two blades one 1/4 " and 3/4 " both 109.25" long from Cyber Woodworking Depot. What a difference. Both cut straight lines and the 1/4" one cuts curves really well. You don't need the guiding bearings for cutting straight lines, just you to know. It makes absolutely no difference with or without them. When you cut curves you do need them to prevent the torque of the blade. Another nice thing about this saw is that it has an excitation motor. If you cut light things the power is around 5 to 600 hundred watts, but once you resaw thick wood than the power kicks in around 1250 Watts, which is exactly what they say in the ad about 1.5HP motor. Trust me I did measure it myself out of curiosity. A worthy procedure to mention in here. When you tension your blade just make sure you first apply the quick release shaft and after that use the tension pan on top of the machine to screw and increase it more. Don't do it backwards because it can bend the brackets groove that holds the entire mechanism and your blade guard that raises up and down will hit the upper wheel after that. If you need to adjust the blade on the lower wheel to be right in the center of it there are 4 screws in the back of the machine. First release tension on the blade and loosen the nuts but don't unscrew the bolts. Just enough to give a tiny room for the other one to push from the opposite direction. Do very small turns like a quarter arc at the time. Top and bottom screws are for that. To turn the blade left and right the other ones. Basically you don't have to touch them, but just in case the wheel is off from factory you know where to go. Everything is adjustable and workable, don't worry about a thing plus the customer service is prompt and helpful with no reserve. Very useful machine to have in your atelier and the price very competitive.
