Question:

Is there any way to hook up a wall-mounted switch for on/off and speed controls? I've been renovating a cabin and looked at similar speed house fans with duct hoses that cost 3-4 times the amount of your fans (e.g. QuietCool Whole House Fan). I now need a portable fan to vent digging out a basement, and I'd love to use one of your fans as a utility fan when I need it. If that's not an option, can a switch be retro-fitted to work? Or perhaps you have a product that can work?

Ample power with great suction

Well constructed and sturdy. Two speed fan allows adjustment to suit different needs. Needed a solution to remove dust while removing tile floors in kitchen. Great purchase and excellent value...just what I was looking for.

It moves air.

I purchased this fan to create negative pressure in a room that I am grinding the concrete floor. The 12 inch fan is adequate and makes a noticeable difference, compared to no fan. Be sure to have make up air available to facilitate airflow. I opened the attic hatch in this room. The 30 ft tube is great. Remember that the flex tube is made for exhausting the fan unit. Not for suction or intake. I saw reviews where people were trying to suck air through the tube. The fan unit was placed in the room I was working in , the tube was routed outside the house through the garage. The grass outside at the end of the tube was coated in concrete dust. I can't see the smaller versions working as well as this model does. I would buy again.

This thing works really well. I use it with a 12x19ft inflatable spray booth (https://www.vevor.com/inflatable-paint-booth-c_10313/portable-inflatable-paint-booth-20x13x8-5ft-w-filter-system-750w-350w-blowers-p_010751813974), which we set up in our factory. It clears the air quickly and prevents the entire factory getting filled with fumes. The only catch is that the extractor sucks so well that it actually causes the spray booth to implode if I don't leave something open for air to be drawn into the booth. I just leave the door flap partially unzipped and this solves the problem.

well built, loud as a jet plane, but moves a ton of air. my only issue is hi/low is not marked on the switch and doesn't seem to be much output difference. otherwise we'll built and should last.
