as it states 79 db, it's just that. but this is a solid built blower and does the job with ease, even when fully extended using the least amount of bends, this thing gets it done.
This piece of equipment is built like it was made in 1950. Heavy, well designed and made. Perfect for a small woodworking shop. The only issue is I wish the suction was a bit stronger but good for its size.
It worked good, but when you put the ductwork on it drastically reduces the airflow, almost in half! Without the ductwork is is a great fan. Only thing I can think is that the ductwork has to be fully extended to work better?
Was easy to use and set up. Ducting was flexible and is long enough to reach where needed. Works really well removing dust, so you can keep working. Makes easy work of dust to get the job done.
I use this for remodeling to help keep dust down in showers, kitchens and baths. It works good for its size, if you want to move a lot of dusty air I would recommend a larger size fan. I run it on 50’ of hose and you won’t eliminate dust, but it helps out tremendously.
