I don't have a tool to measure the thickness. It just didn't seem as thick as our last liner. The plastic in-between the folds was very effective as these types of products can tend to stick together and take a lot to separate. The folds however do not smooth out when laying out in the sun. I gave it 3 days laying out in maximum sun and it was pretty hot, but it still maintained the creases. Eventually we had to work with it. I should have shopped better as I may have overpaid. Ironically, right after my purchase was received, I got multiple emails for the same product at a substantial price difference. Guess the cookies on my pc know more about shopping than I do. LOL.
