I received my subterranean Vevor wite tracer, and very anxious to use. It opened it up and it comes with two rechargeable 9 V batteries and two USB to C style cables. But no way to charge the batteries. So I looked on Vevor sight and I can’t even buy the charger separately little bit discouraged, but I guess I’ll go out and buy me some Duracells

We have a very large underground fence for our dogs. It’s several acres. Recently the power company had some big vehicles out here replacing telephone poles and the fence developed a break. We are out of contract so was going the be a couple hundred bucks just to get someone out here. Enter the Vevor Underground Cable Locator! For less than $30 shipped it arrived WITH BATTERIES. Read the manual and then went to the garage to hook it up. I used the ground pole of the outlet as the ground and attached the signal unit to one of the wire as the. I went outside and using the sensor like a pendulum swung it side to side over the underground fence wire. When the sensor is directly over the wire itheres a little pause (a node) so you can tell EXACTLY where the wire is under it. We followed it about 80 feet when the signal fell off. I tried it in a 360 from the last loud signal but there was no more “node”. So I dug to the side of the wire at the last good signal and right there was the break in both wires!!!! Total time was maybe 15min beginning to end. I used solder seal connectors with an additional piece of 12g stripped copper wire in the center since the tips of the break didn’t quite touch. Fence is back to 100% again. Vevor saved me hundreds of dollars today. I’ll make a video on how we used the unit since it wasn’t quite how I saw it used elsewhere. Cheers!

I have a 10/2 underground wire that goes toward the lake & can disconnect it from outlet where start. It goes toward the lake & i can disconnect the wire from outlet. Can I detect the wire under ground & see where it goes & maybe where is broken? it is about 300 feet.

The depth and length are fine, but you need to make sure the wires have a shielded signal layer. A small part of the wires have a shielding layer, which will shield the signal and reduce the detection distance of the instrument.

Good day, I bought this unit and am having difficulty making sense of the manual and how to use it. Is there a tutorial video available anywhere on how to use this device. I didn't find anything on YouTube. Someone else asked the same question and that link you posted does not work. You might have a great product but I require instructions for locating a landscaping sprinkler wire using your product. Thanks.
