I have the Vevor 1 ton chain hoist as well as the 2 ton model in this review. They both cost about the same and frankly, I can't see any difference externally between the two. I suppose I could disassemble then and see if there's anything different inside, but I'm not curious enough to bother. I needed a second hoist, so decided to choose the "higher capacity" one. I think the price difference was only about two dollars anyway. At any rate, they're both good hoists. They also sell a cheaper model that has a really flimsy thin sheet metal cover around it. I wouldn't waste my money on that one. The two I have are very sturdy and worth the slightly higher price.
