Does this pump need to be primed every day it is used? Or, will it hold its prime from day to day if it is in a stationary location where it is used every day?
Before using it for the first time, fill the water pump with water and install a bottom valve or check valve on the water inlet pipeline. Then there is no need to fill it with water for subsequent uses.
I want to use this pump to spray a 3% chlorine solution in water onto my roof with a garden hose and nozzle. Suction will be from a 32 gallon container at 0' elevation, and the highest sprayed elevation will be 35' vertical at 6' horizontal away from vertical at 0' elevation. Can this pump perform?
I'm very pleased with my 1.5 hp pump. It's been easy to prime and easy to operate. The pressure is much better than I anticipated and it has been completely reliable.
