My clay liners are 6" x 10" rectangle. Can I use the brush as is, or due I need to cut it down in size ?

The nylon bristle of our chimney brush is helical and flexible, so you don't need to trim the bristle short. With the driving force and centrifugal force from the drill chuck, our chimney brush can be used to high efficiently clean the chimneys(note, without soft lining) of inner diameter from 100mm~700mm (i.e. 4~28 inches).

I only have a 3.5" opening at the damper to insert the cleaning brush (damper opened). Will your brush fit in it? Bill

Easy and safe
I was able to clean 24 feet of 6 inch flue with my feet on the ground. Just kept adding the snap on sections until I had reached the top, then removed them as I came back down. Did a thorough job in a very short time.

Tried them all. This works around multiple tight bends with out binding. Dryer vent, cuts through wet lint like weed whacker in tall grass. You gonna luv it. I've cleaned out over 300 feet and and it still looks brand new.

Oh how I wish I had taken a picture of all of the creosote that came out of the chimney when my husband used this chimney cleaner! I would have shared it in this review!! It was about half a bucket full of pure fine black dust! I didn’t think that was possible. I understand how fire places may cause fires now. Functionally: the chimney cleaner did a fantastic job. It came with everything including the rods as advertised. We already had the drill so we didn’t buy one. However, if you don’t have the drill, I would recommend that you buy a set of chimney cleaner that comes with a drill. This was well worth the cost! Prior to buying this chimney cleaner, we called a few places to get estimates on the cost of cleaning our chimney. The lowest quote ran around $170.00. You’re smart so just do the math. We’ve only had and used this chimney sweeper for a short time, however, it is sturdy and seems durable. It was super easy to use and fool proof. The bristles did not lose their shape after cleaning the chimney which is great. My husband tested a small section of the chimney for effectiveness prior to using and said that the section of the chimney that he could see was not scratched when he tested the chimney cleaner prior to completing the full cleaning.

Cleaned our metal wood stove liner in no time. Easy to use, but put some WD-40 on each end before attaching, and it will save you some time when you take it apart.

Don't drop it!
It works really well on my 6\" stainless flue pipe. The only advice I can give, is to not drop the sections of rod that are in the flue when you are adding another section. This only applies if you are cleaning from the top down. The brush has no resistance against the inside of the pipe when it is not spinning, and will fall down the chimney if you let go of it.

Works well but a 2000 rpm 24v drill or a 500w ac drill is definitely required. The rods are a little stiff but they bend well enough to reach past tight angles. The spring ball rod connectors seem secure, but I wrap each connector with electrical tape as they are fed up the chimney...just to be sure.
