In my old Chevy, I was looking for an underlayment material that would enable some sound deadening, as well as insulate. I didn't need anything crazy expensive, just needed something that will keep the cabin noise to a minimum. This stuff is easy to work with and not so crazy tacky that you can pull up slightly and make adjustments before pressing it down hard. Works exactly as advertised.
