I was tired of fighting my dogs or taking them to the groomer to get their nails done. I decided to try one of those hanging harness things, but my bulldogs weigh 65 pounds and I'm not able to lift them up to strap the harness to the cross bar. I had a brilliant idea of getting something like what you use to jack up a car, but the platform on those is very small... not big enough for a dog to stand on. Enter my next brilliant idea - hydraulic cart! I knew I had seen one of these before and it seemed like it would work perfect. Let me tell ya, it does! I put the dog on the cart, roll it over to the doorway where I have the pull-up bar mounted. Use the foot pedal to raise it up, hook the dogs harness to the bar, then the cart slowly lowers to move out of the way. This was one of the best investments I've made in ages. (not to mention this setup will pay for itself quickly by not having to pay someone else to do their nails). Of course it will also come in handy when I move, or just generally need to lift up heavy stuff. I'm very happy with this purchase. It functions perfectly and worked for my needs.
