can your fans be mounted horizontally? I want to install it in my garage ceiling therefore cooling it and the attic same time. exhausting garage heat into and out thru attic vents.

If the louver is installed horizontally, the opening angle will not be too large. Generally, they are installed vertically. For the above purposes, it is recommended to use a diagonal flow duct fan to connect the duct for discharge.

Can this be a ceiling mounted attic fan

Yes, you should pay attention to the opening of the louver blades when installing. Vertical installation is the highest. If the louver blades are arranged upwards, the opening angle will be smaller. If the louver blades are installed downwards, they cannot be retracted by gravity.

I bought these to use in my shipping containers for exhausting hot air. They work perfectly, moving plenty of air after I installed an inlet damper. This fan is strong enough to move high volume of air to reduce condensation also.
