Inbound mounting or Outbound mounting
This Item seems fine but be aware that this driven clutch is for inward mounting (Red Spring) on the driven clutch pulley ( means the clutch part of the driven pulley is mounted on the same side as the engine) If you must mount the driven pulley outward then you will need a reversing spring or it will not work. The yellow reversing spring allows it to be mounted outward and work properly. The Comet part number Comet 204524A Yellow reversing spring. BMIKarts sells them for around 18.00. Without this the belt will jam and destroy the belt quickly unless you mount the driven clutch inward or purchase the reversing spring. AMAZON does not sell the reversing spring but BMI KARTS has them for around 18.00. This is not as heavy duty as the Comet Clutch (CVT) but for the money it's fine. It is also designed symmetrical Clutch it is NOT an asymmetrical clutch. this is a 7/8" V-belt 18 degree both sides.

Smooth starts and much quieter
For the money, this seems like a good deal. My old clutch was rattling and jerky on startup. Not a hugely difficult install but recommend the clutch puller. Goes on easier with 2 people. Smooth starts now and much quieter than the old clutch. Not sure about longevity but So far so good.

Works perfect on my 1996 yamaha G16 golf cart. You will need a puller to remove the old one so order that when you buy this. Have been using this for a few months with no issues.
