I was a little skeptical this would work for my clogged shower drain based on some of the reviews but it worked! Product seemed durable and I had no issues getting it down to my blockage. It only took two tries to pull out the gross glob of hair, etc to unclog my drain. Worked well without having to attach my drill.

Comparable to other drain augers in usage. End piece is hard to clean, I'm tempted to soak it in Drano. The thumbscrew needs a lot of pressure to lock down and the auger kinked after two uses in my sink drain

When none of the liquid drain cleaners worked, I decided to try this snake before calling a plumber. Very glad I did. Cleared the kitchen sink drain for much less than any plumber would charge. My clog was pretty far down the pipe, but this 25 ft snake was long enough to do the job. The whole job also took less than 30 minutes which was great. For the money, this is a great snake to try before calling a plumber. Thanks!!

The drill adapter makes this great for deep clogs. As with all of these spring type devices, you must lay it out in the sun full length out to dry. Don't put this away wet or you'll have a rust ball next time you need it.

very good addtion to your tool box
I only have cleaned one drain a very blocked line from my kitchen. The auger did very well after I broke through the blockage. It handled like a large rooter only having a probe to drag out hair and greese ect. I had to go in and out 6 times due to the large amount of blockage ,but it performed. I ran it out 25 feet then I flushed the line out. Its well worth the money I payed for it.

Great for small clogs
Had a 2\" floor drain that was clogged with grease(had been for years), had to run this in multiple times and pull out plugs of grease, which then I ran hot water over the spring to knock the grease out, a little bit of work, but it helped open up the drain so that I could get the chain cleaner in. Now the drain works great.
