1. Avoid the Ladder: Trying to use a sledgehammer while perched on a ladder is an invitation for an accident. Use the stability of a pickup truck bed. Or start with a shorter post that can be driven more easily into the ground
2. Wear protective gloves when using tools to install fixed signposts, or use two people to assist.
3. When using, please read this manual first, and keeping it well for subsequent use is recommended.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

With an outdoor life of at least 10 years, our signposts are certainly the most durable in the market. U-channel signposts look brand new even after years of exposure to sun, wind, and weather abuse. The enamel coating extends the life of the posts and prevents rust.

• 8’ posts are the most popular and are the standard for most parking lots, schools, and malls.
• 6’ posts, however, are easier to install and are favored by homeowners for off-street installations.

Assuming a 1.5 ” ground depth, this gives a height of 3’ between the ground and the bottom of a typical 18” tall sign.

The hole spacing and hole size are standard across all post heights.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Unpack and take out the signpost and a bundle of Screw accessories.

To achieve a sign height that can be seen over a parked SUV, we recommend using two overlapping 6’ posts. This also avoids the ‘ head knocker’ hazard when distracted pedestrians absentmindedly confront a shorter post and sign installation.

Try Two Posts Instead: Professionals often use two overlapping 6 ’ posts. This gives the signs plenty of headroom(thereby avoiding needless pedestrian accidents).

Surprisingly, installing two signs can be pretty straightforward. See the next photo. We generally recommend a 6”to 12” overlap between the two posts. It is not possible to overlap two medium-weight 1.12 lbs posts.

Pounding in the Post: Posts are generally pounded into the ground (unless a sand-filled sleeve is used). For all but the shortest posts, we recommend using the bed of a pickup truck as your platform.

Although post drive caps are used by professionals installing posts daily, most users find this unnecessary.
