I read all the warning and instructions but one thing it doesn't say is what to do before you first cook on it? Am I to let the griddle heat up over the fire to burn off any access paint to kill any harmful chemicals before cooking meat straight over the steal mesh ( Expanded metal ) grade? Hope u answer quickly. I am going camping real soon!
