This isn't quite as good as a genuine teleflex, but it certainly works good enough for a lot less. Instructions werent perfect, but good enough. Generally what I've come to expect from vevor. I would like it to come with a transom tube, or at least have one linked to from the product page. If you are building your own hull, the transom tube may be necessary. It gets glassed in to the transom rather than using the outboard hinge tube.

The VEVOR Boat Steering System Kit is a easy way to Upgrade / Update your Boat Steering System. I ordered the Kit for our thirty plus year old 16' Whaler. The Kit is complete and has all of the templates and accessories needed to successfully install everything and get it in good working order. I was really surprised on how smoothly the install went, honestly when the Vevor Kit arrived I really thought that this would end up being a project for the \"Procrastinating File\" that I would install over the winter. After reading the instructions and looking at the Templates I quickly moved it to the \" Do It Now\" File. The installation went as smooth as Silk, no hitches or bugs, everything went in as designed and work perfectly. I am an old Goat with no experience in boat repair, using common hand & power tools I was able to install the entire Kit in a little over two hours, the Install looks like it was Professionally Installed by the Manufacturer or a Top Rated Boatyard. I gave the VEVOR Boat Steering System Kit a Full Five Stars! I couldn't be happier with the product!

Replaced a cable system works great. Must have miss measured was a little longer than I need but was able to make it work.

I have been impressed with Vevor as an aftermarket company. They make some fairly good quality well pretty much everything. They really do have a large line of products which makes me feel this is not a fly by night company, they are invested for the long run. This is as most any order from Vevor, another quality part at very reasonable price!

Used this kit for a small boat project that I'm working on, and it's not disappointing. Steering is pretty smooth and works exactly as it should. I could have used a couple of feet more, but I made it work with what I had so all is good.

The return policy is anything but hassle free. You might get a percentage returned but that’s it. The tech dept said a 13 ft would fit, yet when I pulled the old steering cable it was marked 12 ft. I tried to cancel and return the 13ft they said would fit. It took a couple weeks just to get a partial return.
