the tow bar would not work. one half is stuck and wont move. would return but dont know how.

Needed a new towbar and found this one through Google. It came quickly, the box was a little beat up but no holes where parts could have fallen out. It looks heavy duty, eveything hooked up and operated properly. I only have one issue, The vertical axis joint has a large bolt with a self-locking nut. Now according to industry standards that I researched in order to keep the nut from backing off it should have 2 to 3 threads showing above the nut. That standard was not met on this build the bolt was not long enough to have any threads protruding from the nut. In my case I caught it in time; the nut did back off about 3/16 of an inch after about 900 miles of towing.

Biggest P.O.S. I’ve ever used. Always used blue ox tow bars. This piece of crap doesn’t even compare.. you know what they say, you get what you pay for. I feel the need to complain to the national transportation safety boards.. somewhere in time somebody’s going to get hurt.
