Solid Workhorse for My Little Shop
I run a small hobby shop out of my garage, and this saw has been a total workhorse. The depth gauge can be a bit tricky—it’s not the most precise thing, and I have to mess with it a little to get it dialed in—but for what I paid, it’s an amazing deal. I’ve used it to cut 1-1/2" black walnut and hard maple, and it powers through with clean cuts, though I take it slow to keep it smooth. Mostly, I break down sheet goods with it, and it’s perfect for that. I swapped out the stock blade for a carbide-tipped thin kerf one, and now the cuts are even better. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this tool—it’s a game-changer for my projects!

Great for Rough Work
For me, this saw cuts straight enough to get the job done. I use it to square up rough-cut lumber, and it works like a charm. I wouldn’t trust it for fancy high-end finish work, but that’s just my take. The stock blade’s decent, and it’s got plenty of power—slices through inch-and-a-half red oak no problem. I’d buy it again without hesitation.
