I purchased this pump because the one I had didn’t have enough gpm for the size pool I have. I had some challenges assembling, but some of that was my fault. I did have some issues with leaks, but eventually got them stopped. My main disappointment is the lid for the leaf catcher. Which the design of the lid is much easier to remove than my previous pump, there is no air vent. The only way to get air out is to loosen the lid. The basket doesn’t stay in position very well when you do this causing debris to go outside the basket. Eventually, I modified the lid to add an air vent. Adding a little gravel to the basket helps keep it in place when tightening the lid, but I still have to be careful. Works well once I solved my issues.
