Quality commensurate with price? Here's what you get...
Let me set your expectations. The Vevor 36" spark screen cover is about half the price of the only other one being offered through Amazon now. I'm sure there are reductions in quality to warrant a reduced price, but I don't know what they are, and it is not worth it to me to pay the higher price of the more expensive product.The Vervor dome comes disassembled (see uploaded photos). WEAR GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING!!! There are no instructions so I have uploaded photos showing a suggested method. The bottom edge of the dome has sharp frayed wires: WEAR GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING!!! The screened dome segments arrived well packaged, but the bag containing the handle and screw fasteners broke open. Fortunately there were enough screws and nuts in the box to complete assembly. The points of the dome segments were reinforced with cardboard packaging to prevent damage during shipping. Thank you Vevor.Assembly:1) WEAR GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING!!! Match the segments in pairs first before attempting to assemble the complete dome, loosely fastening the dome halves together making sure that the holes in the struts for the top handle are aligned. (See photo of two assembled halves viewed from the top.) The corners that match together are stamped with a "3" as shown in the detail photo. The top of the dome has extra holes used to attach the handle. Notice that the single top hole of the dome is left empty. Instead, the top of the segments are held together temporarily using the screws that will attach the top handle. This will make more sense when you see the parts.2) WEAR GLOVES WHEN ASSEMBLING!!! Turn the dome halves upside-down and loosely screw the top hole and segment corners together. After attaching all 9 corners together to form a dome, tighten the corner and top screws (but not the handle screws).3) Remove the handle screws from the struts, then reinsert attaching the handle.The edges of the screen are spot-welded to the structs at various points in two rows. This is the right size, and attractive, and lightweight. But beware! Putting it together is very challenging, and you’ll need to wear gloves or some ham protection to keep the sharp metal edges from cutting your hands to shreds.
