Love this tool. I always have issues with lack of helping hands. Used other tools to overcome but none of them are satisfactory. However this tool helps me a lot. Strong magnet, sturdy flexible poles, clanps they all good. Recommed

Nice heavy base that doesn't flip or move easily. Very strong neodymium magnets keep the accessories where you put them on the metal base, even the heavier clamp for a heat gun (which I use to clamp batteries or capacitors or other large components if they need wires soldered to them). I added the larger vise sold as an accessory, and I like that as well. I would urge others to consider the same brand, but one that comes with everything this does, and includes both the larger vise, as well as a USB powered illuminated magnifier that clips to the base magnetically, all as a single purchase, because it's less money when bundled. Nice quality, very useful and well made, I was pleasantly surprised.

If you solder, you need this. If you have arthritis, you need this. Such a useful piece of kit. Far better than the flimsy helping hands products I have seen before. I love this. It has made my soldering so much easier and safer.

I've been putting off buying something like this for a while now, always finding a way to rig up some mickey-mouse arrangement that allowed me to get done what I needed to, albeit inconveniently and slowly. But last week, I finally ran up against a soldering project where I simply couldn't get everything to stay put exactly where it needed to be. I bought this device and it worked *perfectly*, with minimal adjustment or fiddling around. I put the circuit device I was working on in the middle of the plate, put the three holders I needed in place, lined up the light/magnifier and in less time than it would have taken me to set up just one of the simpler joints using my old techniques, I was able to finish all 18 joints. I don't expect I'll need it for every project, but I am sure I will use it more than I would have guessed, given how helpful it was on this last project.

Nice design and easy to setup. Makes soldering smaller stuff easier as long as can clamp it in place. The arms are a bit annoying at times but for the price kind of hard to go wrong

This is a high quality board. Everything feels solid and robust, plus its extremely versatile. The bottom plate is heavy and doesn't move while you're working. If you're tired of cheap helping hands, get this kit, you won't regret it. Really great customer service too.

This is a great little portable station. makes it easy to set up and get to work anywhere. USB light is a standard LED adjustable light - works well, and Magnifier makes small tasks big again. It comes with 4 arms but there are holes for 5 - would like option to buy another arm to install - helping to keep multiple components near each other while soldering smaller multi-pcb circuits together. Overall - great product.
Note: For assembly, don't use the included screw driver, just use a real one, to tighten feet.
