This was the best purchase we made this winter! We had lots of rain and freezing temps later so a build up of 2 inches of ice was the norm. We used the mat to melt off all the ice on our patio and front steps. Keeping the plugs dry and using heavy duty extension cords helped us create a much safer outdoor winter outdoor environment! . We haven’t fallen and neither have the delivery people!
Worked like a champ! Easy to use and works great! I plug it in when it snows and unplug it when I don't need it. Glad I got it and much safer now where ice and snow are now melted off. Worked great at -40 F last week when we got 8" of snow.
The VEVOR Snow melting mats work Great! What a pleasant surprise to have a clear sidewalk. I set them up plugged them in when the snow started and watched as all of the snow melted and I was able to walk without slipping down the sidewalk.
Not sure too much snow accumulates on ours. However every one enjoys standing on the warm mat while waiting to get in or out of the hottub. We don't use the included timer. We just plug it in before heading outside, & unplug it when we go in. Nice addition to cold winter nights in PNW.
This snow melting mat is well made, with high quality waterproof connections. Although it comes with a timer, I used a smart plug to automate it to turn on and off depending on the weather forecast. I’m very happy with this.
