The cutter works very well but it needs adjustments right out of the box. The slot where the blade go have a layer of paint that prevent the blades from cutting into the wood. After filing the paint away from that area the blades fit a lot better and made very short work of the logs with very nice clean ends

I have made a bed and chairs works great

It takes a little bit to get it to bite, ended up using a draw knife to start a bevel makes it a lot easier

I was skeptical about getting these but was I wrong , these are freaking awesome. If you are wanting to make ladders and handrail and pickets these are what you need . I don’t see much need for the 1” one but all of the ones above 1” are the best

It is a nice set for the money. Mine showed uo with a broken blade. I was disapointed to find out that I could not buy replacement blades for this. I spent $130 on a tool I can not buy the "wearable parts" for.
