While using this gun, it worked fine. The problem was when the tube is supposedly empty. When the cartridge is removed, globs of the adhesive is at the base of the outside of the cartridge. I thought that it was a faulty cartridge, but it did the same thing again with a new cartridge. Huge mess....huge waste. A friend showed me that the fault was not the tool, but that I had not cut the top off with a wide enough opening for the adhesive to come out and was forced out of the bottom. My error...not the tool.

Powered it up and had steady even caulking. No more globs, no more stops part way. Gives a very professional result. Great price, quick ship and packed nice.

I have several old buildings with flat type roofs. I found a 88 foot seam along the fire break wall that needed Black Jack roofing sealant. That type of product is hard on hands with a manual caulk gun due to being thick. This new tool was so amazing! I knelt down and applied the product with another guy just cutting open new tubes. We did 29 tubes in 30 minutes. What I saved in labor and time paid the price on the caulk gun. AND, it was still on 4 bars of power.
