This item was better than I expected at the price. One thing to know: it's 2 3/16\" in diameter, so I won't fit into most holders designed for the more common 2\" size. If you run into this problem and you don't need to use the full height of the pole (in my case I just needed enough height to get a Starlink antenna above the roof of my trailer), here's how to remove the bottom section. Each section is topped by a shiny chromed ring. You can't take apart the sections unless you remove the ring. I used a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to cut a slit along the length of the ring, but you could probably break it off in other ways. Once the ring is removed, you can pull the first section of the flagpole away from the rest, leaving a 2\" diameter flagpole that fits nicely in a 2\" flagpole holder... once you remove the plastic C-ring that fits loosely around the very bottom of the second section. You now have a sturdy 15 foot flagpole that will fit into a typical 2\" ID holder.
