This item was better than I expected at the price. One thing to know: it's 2 3/16\" in diameter, so I won't fit into most holders designed for the more common 2\" size. If you run into this problem and you don't need to use the full height of the pole (in my case I just needed enough height to get a Starlink antenna above the roof of my trailer), here's how to remove the bottom section. Each section is topped by a shiny chromed ring. You can't take apart the sections unless you remove the ring. I used a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel to cut a slit along the length of the ring, but you could probably break it off in other ways. Once the ring is removed, you can pull the first section of the flagpole away from the rest, leaving a 2\" diameter flagpole that fits nicely in a 2\" flagpole holder... once you remove the plastic C-ring that fits loosely around the very bottom of the second section. You now have a sturdy 15 foot flagpole that will fit into a typical 2\" ID holder.

Overall, this was easy to assemble, but I don't consider it quite heavy duty. I live out in the country and my last flag pole broke due to the wind, and it was sturdier than this one.. I am afraid this might not hold up as much as I need it to, but we will see. So far it works but haven't had any of the terribly windy days yet. The black looks nice, but the ball on top, the flag, the pully, and the rope hooks are all cheaply made. I do have another flag I could put up, but it's heavier weight, and I want to see how this holds up with the lighter flag before I do that.

Easy assembly!

This pole is great for the money. Just be careful when you extend it to make sure you don't pull it up off the lower pole section. I did this and struggled to get it back in place

On the plus side it comes with everything you need besides a hole in the ground and cement. Very easy to assemble with clear instructions. The pole is nice, and it comes with a light flag that is good enough. The ball on top and the cleat are plastic. What they call a clasp (a carabiner) feels more like a piece of plastic than aluminum. It looks nice and will be good for very light weather. The plastic parts can be upgraded with off the shelf items. Is that the point of buying a kit?

Easy to put together. Digging the hole and waiting for the cement to dry was the hardest and longest part. Using posthole diggers for the hole is the right choice, but start the hole with a garden auger to make the dig easier. It even gets the proper depth almost without effort. The pole comes with a simple plastic finial to top it off. I opted for a light on the top. Looks a little like a UFO, the gold accent reminds me of the gold eagles I used to see on the top of poles. The only negative I have is for the \"rope\" used. I found it snagged on the driveway pavers during assembly leaving it with small fuzzy pulls. Not sure how it will weather. I expect this will look good in my yard for years to come.

I like this flagpole I have no problems with it seems like a quality product and I would recommend and I would by again the tubing seems quality and value for the price I am very happy with it

This flagpole was super easy to install. The instructions were very straightforward. The flag itself is great quality and looks so nice flying high in the sky. The flagpole is great quality and very durable. I expect it to last for quite a while.

The aluminum pipe is good quality, lightweight but strong. Once assembled and installed, the pole is very sturdy. The pole looks great, and it's easy to attach and raise and lower a flag.

Is this the best quality flagpole out there? No. But, it gets the job done and is, in my opinion, \"good enough\". Super easy to put together and comes with most of what you need in the box. I've got mine secured to a vintage yard-art tractor, I am skeptical that the small PVC tube you're supposed to bury in the ground would hold it up. I would highly recommend adding some self tapping screws at each joint, I did and it helped it's rigidity substantially.
