I bought this opener in January of 2018, it's now May of 2019 and has worked as expected 99.9% of the time. It has even worked better since I sprayed the chain and gears with non-dust collecting lube.A couple times in heavy ice storms I had to help it start (before the lube), the rest of the time it has worked great.I suspect part of the reason my remotes only reach about 75' is they are key fobs plugged into the ignition thus signal is blocked by car engine and my opener is mounted with the control board and antenna on the opposite side road approach.I recently added a wifi garage door opener to the gate and it adds a whole nether level to the coolness of having an automated gate!
For the price this works as design, it's not hard to install , took me about an hour, i was replacing a previous gate opener of different brand , had to make a few adjustments but it works
