You’ll need to do some trials
This is an affordable press that yields better results than hand printing with a baren. Be sure to invest in a LOT of paper to get the hang of printing with it and use your old inks until you find your rhythm with this tool. You’re going to have to guide your hand to push the metal plate through the roller if you want to apply a lot of pressure on your linoleum. Additionally I would run it through the rollers a second time in reverse for good results. These practices are pretty common with a lot of affordable presses in this price range.Don’t let these common practices deter you from buying it, it will definitely make your life easier if you’re used to hand printing. Every press has its quirks and there’s always a learning curve when using new tools. But I would only use this with linocuts because the more pressure you add, the stiffer it becomes. I took tips from the other reviewer and greased the screws of both rollers with a toothpick, I don’t really see a big difference. I would also take a piece of linoleum, cut it with scissors and make runners to add to the sides of the plate with double stick tape.Be sure to try and mount it or anchor it to something, it moves around a lot. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Very pleased with this etching press as a first of its kind for me to try, as I plan on making art prints for upcoming art shows and fairs. It seems well constructed and its design is very much like other etching presses of its kind and price range, a good thing since I can't find much documentation on how to mount it on a movable base. Fortunately I found a video online that appears to be the same kind of press. I'm excited to try this press out this month.
