If you need a longer pole saw, this works well. Put together in sections, you don't have to add any more length than is needed for the task at hand. It is a bit flexible at full length and requires some finesse to get going. If it were stiffer though, I'm sure the added weight would make it unusable for most people or too expensive if they used a lighter and stronger material. I recommend it.

This set works great. I did a little customizing by replacing the pole saw head and adding a pole pruner head of Arborist grade to one of the extensions.... Can't beat the price and versatility.....

Use this for trimming leaves and seed pods on tall palms. Saves me from paying a pro trimmer that cost me around 500 dollars each time its done.

This pole is great to reach the lower branches of the trees in my yard that I can no longer reach standing on a ladder. It was so much easier to saw them standing on the ground. I will be trimming more branches and the cost of this pole saw pays for itself in one day compared to hiring a tree service to trim small to medium lower branches. I live in a wooded area and this is a great tool to have. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the blade can get stuck in the branch as it begins to drop, but I was able to remove the blade and continue sawing without too much difficulty.

The only problem I have had is the blade is easy to get pinched in the cut and the blade will flex easily when trying to get it unstuck. The hook on the end of the blade may contribute to that as well. Other than that it works great and is of good quality. Would buy again.

I needed this to lop off some branches of trees around my house. It worked perfectly. I like that I can adjust the length of the pole. It's very sturdy and well made and not too heavy. I'm pleased.

My last pole saw was a 12ft fiskers, which I still consider solid. The price and reach of this saw outdoes it.

When you use all of the pieces to make the pole as long as possible, it is impossible to lift the pole where you want it onto a tree branch. It is very heavy. I had to use my sidebyside as leverage. Once in the tree, it took forever to cut. I have seen sharper blades and this does not have them. The pole itself seems durable though and eventually, it got the job done.
