Nice 4" vise for my Smithy 1230. However, it dose have a few thou lift when clamping down parts you need to be aware of. When I have time I'll work on taking most of the lift out of the vise. The 4" fits the best, 5" would had be to large. Other than that I'm happy with the vise.

It clearly is not aligned perfectly, but for my manual mill, I am happy with it. I did loosen and adjust the jaws and that helped.

Fast delivery, well packed, nice vice. I bough two as a set and they line up well on my milling machine. Working fine and I recommend them to other customers.
