I decided on this vacuum because of price. It works well. I've been taking my time cleaning the pond so this pond vac is perfect. If in a hurry not the vac for you. I did a little modification by putting in a filter for catching the debris and it works perfect for me without spending $400 or more

I really didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount on a pond vac for my small pond.it did well. Honestly it’s pretty much a shop vac. I considered going with an ordinary shop vac but to get all the attachments it comes with… would exceed the price of this one. PRO: It works, does job, has a nice cord length, comes with several attachments, easy to clean, self draining. Got the bottom of my pond pretty clear of muck . I wish I started using it sooner. Cons: although it’s self draining it will STOP for about 15 seconds to evacuate the water then turn on again. I wish it would drain a little more continuously. But… you get used to it. I also wish the drain hose was longer… at least 10 ft or more so it could stretch further out into the yard. Subtracted star for the short drain hose. Generally it does the job and it’s affordable.

If you have a really dirty pond, it's going to take a while to clean it with this vacuum. I do like that it gives you the option on the handle to allow air in as it's pulling the dirt out without taking all the water out of the pond.

Had an overlay done to concrete pool deck and got a lot of debris and dust in the pool water. Was able to get the debris out with a submersible pool vacuum, but the fine particles/dust would just go through the micro filter and cloud the water. Used flocculant to get all the particles/dust to the bottom of the pool, and this baby worked like a dream sucking all of the dust out of the pool.

This pond vacuum works great for my little turtle pond. They make such a mess and then the sun grows algae on a weekly basis and this vacuum cleans it all up so easily

There was a slight learning curve to learn how to use it once we did it has worked perfect

This product is used to remove sludge from my Koi fish pond. It worked well on my first attempt. However, prior to use I contacted Vevor's Customer Support because some of the instructions are misleading or just downright wrong probably because of the translation from Chinese to English. I had to give them my Amazon order # at which point they told me that Amazon would be in contact with me about my questions. That just doesn't make sense - it's not an Amazon product!! Oh well, I figured it out by myself no thanks to Vevor.

I've held off buying a pond vacuum for years. They were just too costly. However this one was priced right and, to my delight, works like a dream. It managed to pull a large percentage of mud and silt from the bottom of my 8 foot x 4 foot garden pond. It also has applications as a shopvac and carpet cleaner (as in it can pull soapy water from a scrubbed carpet).
