Useful for Light Duty Needs
Good addition to our shop on our land, and one more Vevor product that we're fairly happy with. Something that we primarily use for light duty needs. Though most of the time we're just using it for PVC and not metal. It's very heavy, very sturdy, no problems with it tipping over. Durable and strong enough that we'll probably be using it for many years to come.

Mini tri-stand
Not as stable as a full size tri-stand. Works well for fitting up PVC. I would not recommend trying to thread larger pipe with it.

Good stand
I needed this to occasionally thread some conduit. I was using a pipe wrench to hold the conduit. It is well built and fairly heavy, which helps with stability. I have used better stands, but they definitely cost much more. That being said, it should last for years.

Great for lighter weight work 1” or less
This works great for 1” or less, you can do larger work with it just make sure you are supporting all your work properly with stands.

Great stand, use it for plastic piping, see my tips
I already have a heavier duty one for my steel piping use. I needed something for my Plastic piping use holding black ABS drain pipes secure to use my REED pipe reamers which are used with a drill cutting out glued pipe from the hubs of previously glued fittings so they can be reused. As fittings now cost up to 45.00 each its a no brainer for mistakes, salvaging etc. I bought a spray can of black plastic dip from home depot . Filed the teeth down a bit smoother on the jaws I unscrewed and coated 5 times. masked off unit and sprayed the inner chain. Vevor is great quality and pricing from the site directly is cheapest.

Is it a Ridgid? Heck, no. But a chain vise is a chain vise if you're not threading pipe.
Good value priced chain vise. Great for holding pipe or irregularly shaped objects for welding or wrenching on. Okay for threading small pipe. Biggest things you're not getting by going the value priced route (beyond the obvious finish and durability shortcomings): No readily available replacement parts. Less portable -- without being any sturdier (perhaps even a little less sturdy/less stable) this weighs about 20% more, and doesn't have the smooth grab, snap, and fold carry action like the Ridgid does. For occasional use, this is great. If you're in the trade, suck it up and buy the real thing.

Rigid
This is the quintessential Ridgid pipe vise we all cut our plumbing teeth on. No frills, bells or whistles, just heavy metal chains and gnarly teeth. Get one.

Delivery to farm next door but item if great
The item is great but they dropped it off at the wrong address… Then they left it by the highway than take it up to the house. Glad I was home and could rush over so no-one stopped to just pick it up…. All other packages over the last few weeks were delivered correctly.
