This lift is adequate for a home remodel. Lifts both 1/2 inch and 5/8 4x8 sheets with no issues. Could go to 4x12 with extensions all the way out. Not high quality, some parts are more loose than I like. A cotter pin was missing so I had to use a bolt and lock nut which actually work better for the bottom legs. The locking mechanism let go once so far with the load in the air above my head. It stopped itself but wasn’t expecting it to let go. Glad I bought it in spite of the couple of issues I’ve had.

Don't expect this item by the date provided, Amazon repeatedly lied and said they would expedite the item after failing to have shipped it until the day after it was supposed to be delivered, and countless hours waisted on the phone with customer service to track a package they accused UPS of having even though it was in their possession. As for the lift, it is tall and works pretty well, it needs tightening and inspection before use and lubricated for ease of use in high friction areas. If you are fine with waiting, purchase this. If you need something fast, go through another vendor.

Works out great for the job. Order a electric jack hammer on 2 /25/24 it was due on 2/29/24. It has not arrived as of 3/3/24. Tried to reach out to the people have not heard from them yet.

I bought this to hang some drywall on a cathedral ceiling I'm building. I had never used one of these before but even my wife said we could have never done it without the hoist. I bought the 16' hoist and it was probably a bit to high for our job and the 11' would have probably worked fine but hey, Go big or go home, right?
