Great little heater for the price! Used in a 4x4x7 space.
Have been using for 2 weeks now and this heater works as advertised. As many people mentioned it doesn’t come with a wire/plug or sauna stones, but that isn’t misleading if you read the product description. Wired it myself after watching some YouTube videos and a visit to my local hardware store. This little heater gets hot if you build your sauna properly. I can consistently get my sauna to 170-180 F but it does take 90-120 minutes. The timing isn’t very convenient, but can’t complain at this price point. I just wish the timer was longer than an hour (reason for the 4 star). I have to set alarms on my phone to remind myself to reset the timer after the first hour. Would be nice if the timer was adjustable or was longer than 1 hour.I installed this heater in a 4x4x7 build. I used 2x4 framing, r15 rockwool insulation, foil vapor barrier with 1 inch furring strips between the foil and cladding. I had extra insulation so I put three layers of the r15 in my ceiling. Heat rises so figured might as well make sure the ceiling was as sound as possible. Built the sauna next to my shed to just ran the wire from the heater to the outlet right outside my shed, 20 amp breaker.

Great Sauna Heater
In the interest of full disclosure, I have a small sauna: 7'x4'x4' or 112 cubic feet. Installation was easy and quick. It doesn't come with rocks, so I grabbed some from my backyard and they worked well! I am able to get it up to 200 F within 45 minutes. Great value for the price.

Perfect heater for the right sauna (learn from my mistakes)
This sauna heater is perfect if you have the proper sauna and do your research on how to set up a sauna; i.e. rocks, ventilation, and insualtion. I built a 4'x4'x7' sauna (slightly larger than is recommended for the heater) and it gets up to 170° in the middle of winter in Colorado. The company also has an instillation video on their website that I would recommend watching. But here's what I learned while installing this heater:1) Get good sauna stones. None are included with the heater and yes, they are vitally important. Stones are the heart of a sauna and the heater is just there to get them hot. Without good sauna stones it is just a very dangerous space heater. Be sure to stack your stones properly too, you'll need various sizes from 2 inches up to 5 inches. The smaller ones go between the coils and larger ones rest on top. Stack them tightly enough to not put weight on the coils, but loosely enough that air can easily flow through. If you stack them too tightly the unit overheats and turns off before getting the stones hot enough.2) Yes you do have to wire it yourself, or have someone do it for you. If you do it yourself, make sure you get proper "fork" connectors (5 bucks from a hardware store) and use a thick enough wire to handle the draw of 110v and 18.2 amps.3) This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, the instructions included suck. They're essentially useless because they're generic for this company's heaters in general, which are all 220v. But here's all you need to know to install the heater:-Watch the installation video posted by the company for this model.-Before first actual use, run your heater without stones for a few minutes to burn of any left over gunk from the manufacturing process.-Use the wall distance measurements printed on the cover panel on the front of the sauna.-Don't try to wire it yourself if you don't know what you're doing.-Ensure that you're wiring or plugging into a 20 amp breaker. When in use this heater draws 18.2 amps; som

Works as intended
I knew one unit was pushing it for the amount if square footage I had to heat (4x6x7). One only got it to 125 degrees. Two work, I can get it to 170 degrees.Works as intended and good price.

6kw Heats my 5x7ft sauna to 175F in 20-30 mins, maxes out at 200F
Have used the 6kw version almost daily for 3 months with no issues. Heats my 5x7 ft outdoor sauna up to 175F in about 20-30 mins. Maxes out around 200F after about an hour. Installation instructions could have been better. I used a double 30Amp breaker for my install with no load issues. Has done a great job so far, will update later if I encounter any issues.

It works!
So, I was replacing/restoring an old Healthmate sauna, and needed a new heater. This little sauna fit perfectly, and does heat up the sauna nicely. Directions are awful, but the Youtube video is pretty good. Recommendation - buy the cord that Amazon recommends because it will save you a trip to the hardware store. It's heavy duty. I mounted the unit midway on the wall, and discovered that was a problem because (duh) heat rises. So, mount it lower. It does suck the power for a 120 V, so make sure that it's on a dedicated circuit. My is connected to the outlet that servers the washing machine. Otherwise, you'll trip your circuit breaker. Would I buy this again? Yes.
