This is perfect for quick small fires. Generates great heat. It's smokeless to a point. You have to add pellets or wood a little at time otherwise it will create smoke.

This unit is great. We fire it up almost every night on the front porch. It is easy to use, easy to clean and provides the warmth needed on these winter nights.

I think they got the compromise between material thickness and weight just right. Pretty solid but not too heavy. No real assembly, slide the bottom out of the top, flip it over and lay the top back on. Lights easily, burns surprisingly hot and long. You can actually see the airflow working. Very little ash too. Perfect for 4 to 6 people to sit around. The whole thing gets hot. I sat mine on a couple of bricks on my deck just in case. Now my neighbors all want one!

It is not smokeless, but really isn't that an unrealistic expectation? It does channel the smoke up and produces a nice tall flame. Gets the fire very hot which helps with the smoke. It's short so we needed something to set it on. We used our old fire pit.
