It was a little difficult to put together initially, then I sprayed WD-40 on the black connector pieces and it was smooth sailing from that point on.

I am 72 and found this easy to put together only needed a hammer. It is light weight and just what I needed for extra storage off the floor.

As reviews mention, it’s hard to put together. I found that nothing slid in easily, little shavings would start to form and impede the pieces from sliding in further. With some scissors I started shaving down all of the black corner pieces and then everything slid in with relative ease.

This is the best of the dunnage rack designs out there! The HD ABS corner couplings and the adjustable legs make it first rate. I have used two different sizes as foundations for solid wood red oak sitting benches and they look great! The 1000 lb rating makes it easy to meet the 250% above expected weight for a safe HD sitting bench.
