The quality is nice but the design is lacking. I had to drill a hole in the bottom center to allow water to drain. I also used a drill to drill through the umbrella pole through the holes provided in the stand. I did this such that the umbrella pole bottom was still 1 inch above the bottom to allow water drainage. This secures the umbrella to the base and ground. i.e. it is not going anywhere. The sleeves rattled so I had to add foam between them to dampen all movement. With these mods it is a pretty nice stand.

Excellent product, very solid and sturdy, and now it has a drain at the bottom. A++++++++++++++++++++++++

My last stand fell over all the time. We close our umbrella and try to remember to tip it over before the wind does but of course we forgot one night and it broke. Bought this one and put water in it. We bought sand but so far with just the water, it has not tipped over at all and we have had a few wind stroms roll through.

We are using it to hold our umbrella on the deck. We have had some winds at it stayed up without using a table to help it stay standing. I just wish the umbrella holder didn't turn.

The product is perfect for my needs. Sturdy, attractive and wide enough to hold 39BL umbrella. The package came quickly. It was missing 3 parts but I am still leaving a 5 star review. I called the seller and spoke with Robert Lewis. They didn't have the 3 parts in stock so he is shipping me a new package for free, and he checked that everything was in the box. I get to keep the base that already arrived, no need to return it.  Robert also emailed a 10% off coupon for any additional purchases. I am more than pleased that the seller resolved this issue for me so quickly and courteously. I didn't have to go thrive a lengthy explanation or have any hassles. Robert was great.

I filled mine with sand and pebbles. Very stable. Pretty too. Matches my outdoor furniture

I am very happy with my purchase. This supports my 9ft umbrella well. But please close the umbrella during heavy wind and rain.

Very stable holds umbrella sturdy and looks good. Heavy enough to hold umbrella but difficult to slide around. Over all reccomend
