Works good on 230v but sometimes needs to be unplugged to change amperage. I checked and it can work on 110v if I take out a line of the 230v connector. Vevor said they would pay for an adapter but i haven't found one. I could destroy a line on a 50 amp plug for an RV connector to 110v. As they put the 110v on both line's then the charger doesn't work. Maybe they will just send me one....' Ben

Seems to work well. I like the added features.
Mostly positive: * I thought I wasn't going to be able to get it to connect to my phone, but it just magically started working after fiddling with it and going through the same steps a few times. Instructions aren't all that clear, but it does work. * I wired a dedicated 120v, 20 amp circuit with all new 12 gauge wire comming from a 6 gauge to the sun pannel. It charged at 8amp, same as the stock charger. I was hoping it would pull more than 8 amps, since this circuit can take it, but it won't. My voltage drops by 1v (about 1%) where as I think I read it wasn't supposed to start throttling the current until a 10% drop. * I installed a 240v circuit using all 6 and 8 gauge wire. It changed at 13amps and again dropped about volt (1/2 of a percent). I inspected my line while it was charging and found on connector which was a little bit warm, but not exceedingly so. I took it apart and found the screws weren't totally tight. I tightened them down and it now charges at 15amps and the connection stays cool. That's about 3.6kw which isn't bad, though I was hoping for more. The stock 120v charger would do a full charge in 6hrs, and this does it in 2hr, 10mins. * I don't trust the cord connection to be totally water proof, so out of an abundance of caution I caulked the the connections; that's the white you see in the picture. * The longer cord is nice, and it seems to be a heavy gauge, though it doesn't specify. I know some other brands use 14 gauge in some places (particularly the short outlet-to-transformer cable), but hopefully (and possibly) this one is at least 12. * I have an energy monitor for my whole house, and then KW usage shown by this charger do agree with my house's reading. * I used it at 120v for a week. Have only used it at 240v for a day, so I can't speak to the longevity. * For the other reviewer complaining that this isn't a level 2 charger even when at 240v, and it's false advertising; I say to do your homework. This is a level 2 charger. It's the lowes

Decent no frills charger.
Good product and does what it says it does. I got the 120/240vac 16A level one charger. Just because it has 240vac option doesn’t make it a level two charger. 16A for 120vac OR 16A for 240vac. No extras with this one I got. There was no display, no push buttons and no blue tooth phone app. I should have paid a bit more for the one that has a display so I could keep track of the used KWH’s! :( Good value for the price and has a long cord.

Great value for the price, APP is not intuitive for scheduled charging
The price is good. I purchased the updated version so I could use the APP for scheduled charging overnight. Adding the device to the Smart Life APP was the easy part, which basically duplicated the charger display. However, figuring out the scheduled charging was not intuitive and it did not have any instructions. You have to create a \"Scene\" (like a scene in a play, I guess) based on time of day (I called it \"Start\", if \"Schedule:10:00PM\"), \"then\" add the device \"Switch:ON\". Then add a second scene (I called it \"End\", if \"Schedule:6:00AM\"), \"then\" add the device, and \"Switch:OFF\". You can add other settings as well, but I found those unnecessary after initial set up. Hopefully this helps someone, because it took me a while to figure it out with no instructions. It works fine now! Still a good value for the price. You just need a 40A or 50A 240V plug to use the 32A charger, which may require an electrician to run a new circuit. If you're installing a new circuit, I recommend just installing 50A for a little extra future proofing. (Beyond 50A gets pretty expensive.) NEC 2020 also requires a dedicated plug to be on GFCI breakers for plug-in EV chargers. I knocked off one star because the release clip on the handle frequently gets stuck and makes it difficult to remove the charger from the car. (Chevy Volt)

120/240 car charger
Great value for what you get. I’ve only used it once so far and it worked as expected. Time will tell how well it holds up. The cord is much longer than the previous car charger I had which may come in handy.

Level 2 Charging at home
Perfect condition and complete kit for a used cosmetically damaged unit? Saved some money, worked right out of the box the first time. Second time it wouldn't go? Instructions leave a bit to be wondered about. The Ampere and Hour buttons are so touchy you could practically breathe on them to change settings. Use light single taps to change . Discussions in the instructions about setting plug and charge mode versus timer mode are not discussed and set up until they are discussing the app. However if you just press and hold the amp button while the gun is out of the car (which is when you should make all of your settings) will change to plug and charge mode without downloading the app. Was sure I was using it incorrectly and misunderstanding the instructions so I attempted to call for customer service. They need a phone line that works. In between the cut-up conversation I finally figured out that they wanted me to find and provide my order number before they would help me figure out if I was using it incorrectly. Tried calling a couple more times for a better connection . Asked for a call back hoping for a better connection. Gave up there and went back to attempting to understand the poorly translated instructions. Figured it out, got it going, so I'm happy. A great investment I can tuck in the bag and sell with the car down the road.

Got A Charge
Easy to install and works very well. I have a dryer plug that I was not using and it fit right in. It has a easy storing holder and a cord hanger.
