This item will literally get hot enough to melt its own wires.....be careful. I walked away and came back to it smoking. Turned it down and it seems to work but who knows for how long. Even though the offset for the temp dial is a little off, it still does throttle nicely. Will work for sealing basically anything you need.

When I switched on the machine for the first time, something went wrong and part of it generated a lot of heat and stopped working.I sent the query to the seller and they quickly sent me the replacement.Now I am happy for a sealing machine of very good quality.Recommended seller.

It worked as advertised. Love the multiple heat settings available. And the teflon surface makes it useable on everything, even PE although it states it's not for PE use, but on a low setting it works just fine for my needs.Arrived quicker than indicated and was packaged nicely.TG

But - the heat knob is offset. My first attempt to seal a Mylar bag was a burning success. With trial and error I did find the sweet spot for both Mylar and plastic bags.

I have been using this to seal foil lined kraft paper coffee bags and it does a fantastic job! It only requires 150 degrees F for about 5 seconds to create a strong seal.My only complaint is that the set screw for the temperature dial was loose, so the dial actually came off before I had a chance to use it for the first time. It was an easy fix with a screwdriver, but I don't know what I would have done if I had lost that screw. I feel like I shouldn't have to tighten screws on a brand new machine. Since fixing that one issue, I have been completely happy with this machine.
