We use this for wine and spirits, once you figure everything out it works like a charm. You won't be disappointed

Decent Still For The Price.
I only have one problem. The condenser tube is made from flexible ribbed steel tubing instead of smooth copper or steel tubing. It causes the distillate to back up in the condenser and "glug." Also, the condenser tube isn't long enough.

Looks great and totally worth the price. Glad I gave it a chance. Would recommend to anyone interested.

i just ordered this
I just placed my order, but I've used these stills in the past, and they do work. so some tips for everyone- you can't use a closed container for cold water unless you intend to sit and add ice or replace the water. the water HAS to be cold at all times. not warm not kinda cold but cold cold. I hook my water hose to the inlet port and just drain it as it stays filled. you just have to find the balance. seems to work fine. for the guy using induction heat- you are heating it without liquid in it. of course it's going to warp. wtf. with liquid in it the metal won't get any hotter than the boiling point of the liquid inside. simple thermodynamics. heat your product low and slow. I prefer a propane turkey fryer burner. leaks will kill it. it must be sealed. at around 180 185 you should see liquor. at and after 200 you're getting into water boiling territory. I've never used stainless condenser coil only copper but either way keep it cold! don't overheat too fast! good luck. I'll post a review after I use mine

Mr.
I haven't actually ran a batch through, but the assembly looks to be very well built. (And, less than half than others wanted.) I haven't used it yet, so I thought NO score on "easy to use" would work. I didn't want to leave a great rating, because I don't know how it works. Also, did NOT want to leave a single star, but something is required. (I left 3, trying to be in the middle on that.)

Purchased for home use. Very fun projects to do with my kids. We both have had a blast distilling water, fruit, and oil's.

Unbeatable for price
Literally the best cheapest biggest still for you buck! I have yet to find another one this size and quality for 260$!

Super easy and a great set up
Super easy to put together and even easier to use. I just upgraded from. 2.5 gallon copper onion top. I only wish I’d bought a larger size.
