It's a great item , I bought it for a small bedroom (11' X 11' ) with a small window ( a conventional air conditioner even a small one doesn't fit ) . With this one i can use it with the air exhaust tube or put it in he window (see pic, it is more efficient that way) and it is easy to remove if i need to. it said you could use it without the drainage tube but i don't see how right now i have a tube with a bucket but i will make a small hole in the window and send the tube outside that will solve the problem. It does exactly what an air conditioner should do and it is strong enough for my room . I was a bit reluctant about spending 300$+ for a smaller air conditioner but i have absolutely no regret , i have been using it for 2 weeks now and it does the job . Pros- Does the job , easy to remove from window if i have to , sleep mode is great for a bedroom .remote , easy acces controls , easy to carry. Cons- Maybe just one is the drainage situation Overall great buy for me .............. Jean-Guy

We are using this in our 26 foot cabin cruiser boat. It seems to do quite well, I vented it through the anchor locker in the forward bulkhead.
We shall see how it does through the summer, but my hopes are up!

Easy to install and drain. I've been using it for about 6 weeks and it makes a very noticable difference in my loving room. I would not say it is super quiet... but the performance is excellent. I love all the features

This compact portable AC unit is great because this past summer my tenants AC broke and didn’t have cooling and the fans were not enough. This unit is my emergency kit in case I need to set up temporary cooling for them while the HvAC tech fix the main unit. It’s ready to go right out the box and can work with many windows. The design is easy to understand and not too heavy to carry around. I can see someone having a small studio to use this to cool their unit as well. It’s great to have for emergency cooling.
