Genious idea. I usually ust see the enclosures being simple boxes but this is a whole furniture piece that matches all my other furniture pieces style. Very nice and sturdy, can put books and heavy decorations on top and my cat can jump up and down and it doesn't even wiggle. I think even a maine coon would fit through the opening to go inside. I honestly don't even have a litterbox in there, just a blanket as a safe space. My cat loves it ans so do i. Pretty easy to assemble just the door mechanism was a little tricky. Good size, fits loads of stuff and definitely worth the price.

I got this enclosure to replace a similar one with the same style of side entrance which had a faulty door so my cat was already familiar with the design style and took to using it after a few cautious investigations. The design is functional and it does a pretty good job of both hiding the litterbox and containing odors. If the litterbox is kept relatively clean, I don't smell anything at all unless there has been recent use. The litterbox that I use in this is average in size and it fits well. I don't think that a large box would fit in it and I know an extra large one would not work. My cat is a bit small and the confined space didn't bother her. This was pretty easy to assemble and I liked the style of door better than my previous one which had hinges and was harder to assemble (and the hinges didn't stay screwed in to the particle board doors). This has a plastic peg that you can push down on a spring and then slot the peg into the opening. It's a lot less fussy and just as functional as a hinged door. I liked the lighter color and the simple design of the enclosure. It looks like a regular piece of furniture. The only issue I had was that, during the first few days of use, the spring-loaded doors popped open on their own. The springs are very strong, but eventually seemed to stop popping open so they do seem to mellow out after awhile. I found this easy in terms of reaching in to the enclosure and cleaning the litterbox as well as sweeping out any scattered litter. The cardboard scratcher also catches some of the stray litter which is helpful. My cat didn't not use the scratching tray for scratching, but didn't mind walking over it. The enclosure differs slightly, but not meaningfully, from the product pictures at this time. The pictures show the springs for the doors on the bottom, but they are installed on the top. This enclosure does a great job of hiding a litter box and has a secondary bonus of reducing litter tracking. Since it carves a little pathway for cats to take, there's space for litter to fall off their paws before they walk on the ground. I quite like that. I thought it was amusing how they accounted for robot vacuums by giving it 5 inches of clearance too. I realized this has a secondary benefit of additionally helping with litter tracking since the little hop off also helps loosen litter. The dual cabinet doors open widely, so there's plenty of space for scooping. I wonder if it might get too dark in the cabinet in the evening, so I might add a nightlight nearby it. Otherwise I've been pretty happy with this enclosure. It looks great as well. Up close it's pretty obvious it's a laminate, but at a distance not bad looking at all.
