I am real happy with this seat cover The supports are made out of pressed wood instead of plastic and we had no problems with it holding up to our 98 lb dog on a 8-hour trip and every day use since then. The boards come out easily to wash the cover. Highly recommend and will buy again if it ever wears out.

Love this product. My dog is comfortable and my pickup is clean. I love taking my dog but he is just too big to fit comfortably on the back seat. I have leather seats and don't want to take a chance on the seat getting damaged from his toenails. My seat extender works perfect. I love it and at a fraction of the cost of the others I looked at. It is strong and durable material.

Can this be used with captain chairs in back seat?

The base is pretty sturdy. Our dog is just under 50lbs, and there’s no sagging in the front portion where the seat doesn’t extend. It does fold in three places to make it easy to store, so it may try to fold up on itself if your dog is very heavy and/or it’s not tightly secured to the headrests, and definitely use the seat anchors.
