Arrived with minor damage to the plastic shroud around the base of the cutter handle, causing it to rock a tiny bit during use on my bench-top and affecting the fitment of the wast paper box, but the cutter otherwise works as intended. These issues were easily resolved by shimming one of the rubber feet and keeping a recycling bin under the cutting edge. The quality of the paper baffle is a little bit flimsy and can easily shift, even when the adjustment knob is tightened all the way, but it is still a nice feature to have so long as you keep an eye on it and don't put too much force on either side. Overall it is a good deal at this price point, despite the shipping or assembling damage.

arrived quickly with accurate tracking. only had time to test, but very sturdy. this is the kind of maching that you can pass down to the grandkids. unfortunately its too large for ky work table so i'll need to return it and buy the 12" size. i bought the 17" version

Not sure why there are so many downratings. Mine arrived in reasonable condition. The positives are that this cutter is a fraction of the price of larger guillotine cutters, and produced a sharp, clean and accurate edge. The negatives are that it was about 1/16 inch off, there was no way to adjust out the error (the measurements are fixed). I found the safeties to be useless. It locks the blade in the down or up position, and must be overridden to function. In the up position, the blade is clearly exposed. Unlike other guillotine cutters, the blade does not fit against the clamp in the up position, so the blade is exposed. Thus the machine being "safe" in the locked up position made no sense to me. The cutter side safety shield also made no sense to me, since it makes the exact cut point hard to see and still does not stop hand contact with the blade. The moral of the story is your safety is in your own hands. Keep the machine blade down when not in use, and take extra care when the blade is up. Fear the blade!

This product is of very good quality, the price is reasonable and suitable for users. I think everyone should buy a table to cut paper when needed. Thank you to the manufacturer.

Excellent product and very very sharp (watch your fingers) only change I would make is the handle does not lock on and easily slides off. Drilled a small hole, put a small screw in, problems solved

Right size for the mount of cuttin Indo at my shop. Actually a client complimented me in delivering his flyers already cut. So, so far, an excellent addition to my shop.

Although this item costs much less than other cutters and cuts pretty well, the seller has told me that this is only sold as a package unit and that replacement blades and cutting sticks are not available. The instructions in the package say that the blade can be changed and it appears to have screws to do so but I've been unsuccessful in even finding this product on the manufacturer's website. On the $3,500 electric cutter I've used that has a similar blade, the blades cost over $85 to replace so this item is still not a bad deal at just over $100 for the entire unit. Just don't expect to be able to buy a blade and plan on sharpening the one it comes with.

Overall the paper cutter works well and is easy to use, good value for the price. The measurement grid is slightly misaligned, for example to cut a piece of paper 6" wide you must position the paper edge a couple millimeters away from the 6" line, but this is easy to cope with. The assembly instructions are also sketchy - the manual I received seems to be for a different model, as parts and screw holes are incorrectly labeled, and a couple nonexistent parts are mentioned. Customer service was not very helpful but I figured everything out.
