The hoist will not be installed until spring when an engineered beam will be in place. It arrived well packaged and in good condition. When tested without load it operated as it should.

I've had the unit for about two weeks now and it's been doing great as far as lifting capacity and speed. It doesn't slow down when lifting heavy loads and the hook is very high quality.

good hoist for the money
It works good. I am not crazy about the springs on the chain for the two blocking limit, but they work. The cord is way too short to be used on a trolley. Those are the only complaints I have. It would be hard to put a cord on it long enough for every application. All in all- it is a good hoist.
